All I wanted for Christmas was a big shiny diamond. Thankfully our old friend Rata had one to spare. Fresh line cutting over a healed tattoo. This is going to look great healed.
Rata just sent over a whole bunch of new cuttings; the first to get featured is this tattoo/scarification hybrid. The outlines were standard scalpel scarification, with the shading portions done with a tattoo machine. This technique has a lot of promise- we’ll check back with Rata to see how things heal up.
My buddy Rata from Argentina borrowed from traditional tattoo iconography with this “Poison” girl cutting. I see fresh cuttings from artists all over the world, but Rata is one of a small handful who always sends healed photos of his work. If you follow after the break you can see how the piece healed up.
