When I saw this photo on Ryan’s IAM page, I thought “weird. Ryan looks like he’s wearing a Freddy Krueger sweater” and had a good chuckle.

Then I saw this cutting. Connected? I think so.
You can find Ryan at PBA Scars.

The last time we featured Peck, he was covered in blood. The time before that, he was surrounded by sexy.
I figured it was about time to feature a cutting he did; a flesh removal on the everlovely Miss Maia B. who would like to point out that the photograph I chose was taken in a mirror and the cutting is actually XOXO. I was distracted there for a second. <3

I hadn’t planned on updating tonight, but as I sat down to watch a movie and prepare for the threat of a major snowstorm I happened upon new cutting by my poutine loving friend Efix Roy.
He says this lettering took approximately two hours. Clean work as always. I’m counting the months till my summer trip to spend some time in Quebec City with Efix- until then….

I sat here for a few minutes trying to come up with some clever title for today’s update; Efix from Quebec City is responsible for the work, but as for a title…. nothing came to me. I kept thinking of a Journey album cover, so in the spirit of the design….
Efix has been turning out some amazing work lately; I considered several kickass pieces before deciding on this removal. I’ll bug him for healing/healed photos.

I promised Tiana that I wouldn’t embarrass her on her birthday by making a post here on the scarblog. But since her birthday has come and gone….
Here’s a great shot that Atom took at the SW3 event in Philly. I’m fairly sure the removal piece was done by Ryan Ouellette of PBA. I probably should have checked before I started working on this update… but cookies and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince distracted me.

The always impressive Mr. Lewis Dodd checks in with another amazing all black tattoo removal piece. Working on tattooed skin is very difficult; keeping up with the stencil takes a lot of patience and skill; luckily Lewis has both.
