First post of the new year features a hybrid cutting/brand by NYC’s own Brian Decker. I think it’s a moth. Which probably means it’s a butterfly. Pretty much any time I say it’s one, it tends to be the other. Either way, it’s really well done.

New work by Brian Decker- scalpel/cautery hybrid. You have to appreciate the amount of work that went into drawing this, let along cutting/cautery branding it. Mister Decker has been doing a lot more work with the hyfrecator lately; very interested to see how this is going to turn out.

When you think of badass characters from South of the Border, you probably think of two things: Danny Trejo and Brian Decker. Brian had this to say about this hybrid cutting/branding Sugar Skull: “I’m contemplating completely substituting skin removal with hyfrecator filling, as it’s much quicker and the results are seemingly better, in my opinion”
