Exploring and Documenting the art and culture of Scarification

SCARWARS

I’m thinking of getting robot legs. It’s a risky operation, but I think it’ll be worth it.- Wayde Dunn

I’m fairly sure I attended SW3. But every time I update and scroll through Atom and Casey’s photos, I see pieces I swear I didn’t see being done at the event.

This piece, but the “Paul Hogan of Scarification” himself is a perfect example of that. Given it’s size and complexity, you would imagine Wayde was working on it for a few hours, minimum. But amazing as it is; I have zero memory of it.

Weird.

I’ve looked through those photos with you and somehow don’t remember seeing this one. Stunning! I’ll resist asking for healed photos, but really, i sort of just did anyway.

    Beautiful piece!

Making a reference to the MC Escher self drawing hand?

Always a fan of biomech work!

The title of the post is a line from the movie “grandma’s boy”.
